Back when I was in college or even working for someone else I was really unafraid of sleeping in when I had the chance to.

Since becoming self employed there’s been this lingering fear, guilt… anxiety that if I didn’t DO enough then I wouldn’t ’make it’ —

Clearly that statement above is loaded with layers of feelings, doubts, the need for safety, etc.

There are times where I’ve had to get active in the analysis of the mindsets at play, but this season I’m in the blunt moment of… fuck it.

I walked into the beginning of my hibernation season with some rebellion, and now I sit here with satisfaction.

My past shows me that when I was able to offload my need of safety to a parent or an employer who set my schedule in some way, that I had a natural rhythm of allowing my own inner winter.

The moment I took on those responsibilities 100% for myself when I became self employed I allowed for the ‘mean boss’ version of myself to guilt me into shoulds, pressure, lack mentality and intensity.

I love that mean boss part of me because she really just wants me to be my version of successful. She knows I really do LOVE to do my work. She knows I have seasons of loving early morning wake ups and building…

But it’s not every season.

And the moment I said fuck it, the gratitude came in. This is exactly what I wanted when it was snowing in NYC and I had to take subways into Manhattan. This is exactly what I wanted when I had to walk through wind and ice in upstate NY to class. I wanted to say fuck it without some looming scary consequence.

I’m so grateful I figured out a way to give myself the winter I desire. And this year it’s apparently beginning with sparkly nails, sleeping past 8am, crafting most of the day in a nest on the floor and snuggling with Mike.

Hell ya to the fuck it moment. Let it bring you peace. Let yourself be buried under all the blankets. You deserve it.

Day 4 — Blue Ridge, GA Retreat

Given how small and intimate our group was, it was really easy to break down our morning practice into mini 1:1s.

Each guest got to meet with me, Augustina and Chloe individually.

During their time with @aanitsugua and I, they each got to ask any questions they still had that were lingering, share their deepest, most profound moments and also tie up any loose ends from what they found throughout their meditations. We got to cheers with non-alcoholic mimosas at our final breakfast that was full of giggles and excitement.

In our final practice together each one of us signed a vision board I made prior to the retreat. I couldn’t find anything to put in the middle, it was so clear that it was a place for us all to be represented.

We reclaimed our objects from the shared altar and spoke on what the time spent together meant for all of us.

We said our goodbyes and many hugs were had in our final moments together.

I believe we each felt complete. We all felt as if something new was coming to the surface for us each to enjoy.

I walked back in the house with @wehateyouchloe + @aanitsugua feeling so proud of the team we became. Our trust in one another and willingness to GO THERE still carries on today.

Blue Ridge, GA Retreat — Day 3

How can I put into words the joy that was streaming through this day?

I think we all woke up giddy after the night before and I decided that we were going to go all in on embodying our inner best friend.

So after some simple intuitive yoga, we danced to “Sweet Emotion” by Aerosmith like we had never danced before. The room was so alive with silly playful girlhood that we were all out of breath at the end.

We then chose to build our collective altar. I know in many other group settings this can be done on day 1, but I wanted our altar to represent what we’re building, who we’re becoming. It felt perfect to build from the energy we were fully living within - wholeness.

On day 3 we got to make brooms with the amazing @mhcrafted and oh my goddess did Mark deliver! We had the best time creating and crafting on one of our outdoor areas.

We got to toast with non-alcoholic wine for our final dinner and we sat outside under the stars. It was a beautiful feast.

We ended the evening with one of the most classic witchy rituals one can do — a seance.

Yes, a seance. No, not like the kind you see on tv.

I lead the group into a deep mediation that allowed them to call forward and experience their loved ones for themselves. This called upon another facet of my mediumship where I use it to support, guide and promote safety as the women were able to use their own abilities - because, we all have them.

I was so proud to hear as they came out of the practice that each one of us had a profound experience that lended a hand to more confidence and ease along the spiritual journey we all walk.

And that night, a bear stopped by 👀

Just to steal our trash can… and maybe emotionally terrorize @aanitsugua 😂😂😂

We then had some free time - some went to town, others got into the woods, most got an award winning massage from @formbodylymph !

Our 2nd practice of the day was one of looking into the mirror of our inner critic. Who are they? What do they look like? What habits do they have? How often are they present?

We discussed that the inner critic is here to protect us and the only way to get her to relax is to allow her to feel safe, seen… loved.

After dinner we met a final time.

And I decided to take a risk.

After burning some journal pages in the fire we all went….

How glorious it is to feel FREE alongside your sisters!!!

Did you know that I never “plan” anything I’m leading until either 15 minutes before… otherwise, I’m free styling, baby.

That morning I wrote in my journal —

“I release the need, the habit, the hurt of learning + aligning through the passage of pain. Today, I CHOOSE to live in the power of my blessings, magic and gifts. Today I choose to lead!”

Clearly, I was on to something because we began by releasing —

Releasing what we showed up with, whether it was the shit we’re working through, the energetics of travel…

We shook it off, physically. Right off the bat the music was loud and we were MOVIN’!

Shaking meditations are always my favorite - not only because they WORK but also because they always lead to a dance party. Which… it did.

From there we went into intros (lol ya, we shook and went wild before we technically knew each other… because… trust).

Then we went into meditation + energy healing.

It was profound to start off the wild woman energy as a group from the moment we circled. Believe me when I say, it carried on.

We ended the night with more meditation + energy work to get clear on what we were calling in under the new moon. We then vision boarded with @aanitsugua leading our way.

It was so fun to be in girlhood… the music was light, the vibes were right… giggles were had.

4 years ago today we left everything we knew behind in NY and moved south.

This photo was taken in June 2020 in front of our now home. We had just spent the month in the FL Keys as an escape from all that we were living with in Brooklyn.

Mike had just lost his job. We were getting married in August. I was still working full time but had recently become fully enthralled with meditation, yoga and pulling cards.

We had no idea what was coming next. We only knew that we had to make a massive change if we wanted to make the space for the life we were trying so hard to build.

Fast forward to now; we’re almost unrecognizable in comparison to the people we were then. Every goal we set out to complete here in my maternal hometown has been checked off.

This home has HELD us - and actually, many of you! Some of you know first hand the magic that is within this home and some of you can feel it through the computer screen.

This home gave us the health we so desperately needed by simply giving us space, peace, quiet, trees…

So today as I run around preparing for my retreat by spending time with some of the women I have grown to know and love in this little southern town… as I watch my fur-babies play in the backyard or run through their dog door… as I receive my coffee in bed from my healthier-than-ever husband… I just feel grateful.

Born on the Virgo New Moon — 🌿🌑🪶

When people find out I’m a double Virgo, they usually ask me if I’m okay 😂😫

I’m a deep thinker, full feeler, obsessively analytical and detailed. Type A doesn’t even begin to cover it. And I love that for me.

These qualities are exactly what allow me to be who I am with and for my clients. These spiritual, astrological qualities lead me to ask the right questions, make the best playlists, find that habit or pattern that keeps you stuck…

They also lead me to build, build, build. Do I get caught up in perfectionism? Yes. Do I self-judge that still? Not really.

It can be easy to believe that the spiritual work can only be accessed or lead by those who are a little bit more flowy in their essence. I’m here to remind you that there is not only space, but also a necessary job for us more grounded, detail oriented leaders.

With every year that passes I’m more and more proud of my Virgo moon. She keeps me solution-oriented, mentally focused and able to embody the power of my truth.

Sometimes in the clearing process, the universe continues the job for us in ways we didn’t see coming. It can be a shock to the system, what feels like an explosion within your cellular make up.

When we declare “I am done with…” it’s hard to know how deeply we mean it, until the moment is upon us where the root is being torn out of its home within your psyche.

What matters most is how we sit with it; how we find the place of “I trust in this” even when it’s unclear, painful, infuriating…

All hail King Babu — our beloved 14 year old mini wolf chose to leave our realm early this morning while in his safe spot in our parents home.

He was fiercely loyal and incredibly quirky. Known for shamelessly using his teeth on occasion; if he chose to show you any love, you knew you were special.

I found Jack in the same pound that our first family black lab, and ultimately Mason, came from. He was fluffy and he was fabulous. He lived a life of freedom in our lush backyard and rejected toys because… he was above that puppy shit.

Being a medium and animal communicator doesn’t make loss any less hard, but it does allow for the comfort of knowing his final day was spent choosing how he wanted his final moments to be spent. I could see in his eyes that he was seeing through to the other side, and could feel his energy release early today. Most of all, I’m grateful his 14 year old body is no longer in pain.

Now our wild Jack/Jamba/Babu can protect us from afar alongside the other animal guides. How lucky we are to have known him.

To be a healer, you must first be imperfect and continue to dance in the space of shadow, the dark, the underworldly of your own heart.

The things you wish your mind wouldn’t think, the thoughts that straight up embarrass you even when you haven’t said them outloud — they must be available for your body to address.

Sometimes the label or role of healer comes with a burden to bear of catching the perception of expectation. So often we can be overcome by the idea that we can fix it, them, ourselves when really we often thrive as the trigger without ever knowing it.

Honestly, this week is a 3 therapy appointment week. Sometimes the pressure is humbling. Sometimes the literal astrology demands I FEEL IT, rather than make magic of it.

To be a HEALer is to be HERE for it. All of it.

Can I accept pain as an entry point? Can I allow for this truth to unfold without self judgement or criticism? Maybe even… without blame?

Through the darkness and the ever unfolding events of simply learning my inner and outer being (not doings, not havings, not holdings, not hostings) came the brighter spots of regulation.

Can that be enough? Will I allow my heart to lay down any other idea of perfection in blooming? Can I support the mess?

Yes. Yes I can.

A summer update 👇🏻

With the addition of my 100hr meditation teacher training from @sedonahousebaltimore as well as working regularly with my teachers + mentors, much has expanded over here in my corner of the universe.

❤️‍🔥I’m spending a ton of time building my newest baby @spellworks_advisory 🤩 She came to me during a stay in Baltimore + I am so in love with her AND the amazing SpellWorkers who are helping me build!

(Yes, you should personify your biz bc she is a being + a container separate from you!!)

SpellWorks is due to launch in early 2025 and is a place where you can work with a spectrum of healers and modalities all at different price points. We are also launching a podcast + a subscription service! Yay!!

🧚🏻I am still seeing clients (human and animal!) as always and as you know, these sessions are intuitively lead.

Ya girl floats all over the spiritual spectrum + I have A LOT to give, so opening sessions to allow for my full range to FULLY SUPPORT you has been seriously successful. Lately I’ve been working the most with couples, self-employed peers, new mothers and end of life pets. I am still walking away from every session wondering how the heck this is my fabulous life!!!

🪄And of course as you all know, I’ve been channeling like crazy to give you the best retreat experience possible! Every time someone signs up I swear my heart grows another inch 🥲

Working with y’all keeps both you AND me healthier, happier and more connected. It’s my absolute joy to be on this journey by your side 🖤
