Chloe makes everything *just simply work* in the background of our retreats, which is a huge lift and the whole point is that you would never know it. She double checks my work before you see any of it and tells me what sucks and what’s good enough to bring to you, our wonderful and incredible clients. She’s a witch, a baddie with a STACKED career history and truly a presence of support not just for me, but also for you - whether you realize it or not!

While teaching the younger OMies this morning, I watched them naturally fall into holding hands at the end of class. It made me smile and remember last Novembers GA retreat when 2 women did the same. I can’t help but think this is one giant metaphor for the power and the MAGIC that happens when girls and women come together for a shared purpose. Whether it’s to heal, to explore, to relax or to embody… we are drawn to loving on our sister next to us as we love on ourselves. ✨🖤

FOREVER GRATEFUL for this group, that land, those cows because they’re still bringing the belly laughter that we all deserve!

Also this is your reminder to always wear a damn bra when practicing your inversions 🙄😂

BTS: How did GIRLY POPS even happen!? It started with a vulnerable moment, an awkward asking of clarification, which lead to deeper friendship… and a night of crafting on Courtney’s floor.

As we bedazzled our bags, we processed our emotions, shared our truths and validated the experiences of one another. Together we built confidence and empowered the other to keep building toward their dreams.

✨And when it was all cleared out, Girly Pops Only was channeled right there on that floor in the middle of it all.

Girly Pops Only was born from a deep desire to give young girls a space to feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

🥲 What we didn’t expect? The flood of messages from you, the mamas, who witnessed your daughters light up and whispered (or shouted) that you were craving a space too.

This post is a love letter to the journey, from first crafts to now, and a big, warm invitation to the women of Moore County:

Held at OM Grown Dance Studios, this one-day experience invites you to step away from the noise of daily responsibilities and gently ask: Who am I without the doing? Without the titles, the tasks, the tending to everyone else?

SUMMER ENERGY + how to play with it —

Abundance turns to overflow, check in with yourself and your containers (body, home, mind, backends of business, etc). Make sure you have additional support for when the heat turns up — what and who holds and soothes you best?

Trust and celebrate and respect the water — the ocean, the lake, the rain storm, your tears, the cold shower. How quickly do you believe your cup is half empty? How soon are you willing to refill it? Will you let yourself float? Will you let yourself dance?

Overgrowth can require pruning, but first take a moment to connect with the expansion.

More bodies, less covering. You are STUNNING. Accept it, love it, love you.

Who were you as a child in the summer? What do you need now?

Know the difference between a vacation and a family trip.

Learn how to dive in head first. Play is freedom.

Let your hair get long and wild and tangled.

Remember the flings, the long nights out and the magic of a summer romance. Who were you then? What energy can you call back to you now?

Have lazy lounge days. Pull more cards. Learn astrology. Microdose.

The last year in business I’ve been quietly challenged. This week Jill Arena turns 3, and in this last year I started and ended another venture, SW. I took on roles I am really good at, but ultimately brought me anxiety rather than fulfillment. I over stretched myself and put my witchy brain into a cage of old, masculine, corporate torment with the hopes of freedom on the other side. Why did I think I was not already free? Why did I forget that client work is the most fulfilling dream come to life imaginable? Why did I think complicating would bring abundance? I know better, but parts of me had to catch up.

That’s why I’ve brought @igniteengagement on board to support me through the many challenges that come with growth, alignment and ultimately connection as I move through what it takes to build a sustainable ME in order to have a sustainable business.

Last week I went to SC and had 2 incredible days with my sister in law Kristen and my coach Rachel and now I feel like I can add the sparkle back into JA that she deserves. No more cutting corners, no more making excuses. Just full body YES from here on out.

It’s scary to post this. I forgot I was mic’ed when I said this. I didn’t feel scared saying it then, but I do now! Why thought???! Why is it so scary to be honest about this thing I do still feel sometimes in front of more people than 2 women I trust?

My brain is trying to tell me a laundry list of all the reasons not to share this — but how has that ever healed me or someone who needs to feel seen, heard, less alone right now?

The Virginia retreat was a hit 🌟🐮 Are you coming with us in 2026!?

It can be really hard to say yes. Yes to the adventure, yes to not knowing anyone, yes to the long drive, yes to leaving your kids at home, yes to closing your eyes, yes to sharing, yes to trying something new, yes to admitting you don’t know how or why or when…

But sometimes there’s a little voice inside that says feel the fear and do it anyways.

The joy, friendships and self trust retreats can bring is exactly why we say yes. Because in saying yes, we’re also saying no.

No, I don’t believe these old stories anymore that I am not good enough. No I won’t listen to the voice in my head that says “what if they don’t like you”. No I won’t let someone else’s opinions of what I enjoy, seek, have interest in or want to spend my money on make the decisions for me anymore.

Retreats are always the BOTH/AND. The second you say YES, the retreat begins.

Never in my life have I laughed harder. These women, my team, those cows… they brought out the best in ALL of us. Laughter is freedom. When I built this retreat the only thing I knew I wanted was a giant sleepover party, and that’s exactly what we got. 🐮

These are just some facilitator BTS but soon I will share the work we did together. For now, just enjoy our silly as we all try to hold our gold (and text excessively in the group chat).

I don’t have a Ted Talk, I have a Woods Walk.

INTUITION VS ANXIETY 🙌🏻 a favorite topic of mine and one of the most helpful things I’ve ever freaking figured out.

Once upon a time ya girl had a knock down drag out panic attack on the daily. We’re talking full physical symptoms, in public, at home, you name it. We’re talking medicated. We’re talking shame, embarrassment, the works.

Now I do still lean more towards anxious if I’ve overloaded my plate, but the attacks are gone because I catch it as it’s happening and choose to ALLOW my body to process.

Anxiety is many feelings and emotions flooding the body all at once. The body moves into panic mode because it doesn’t feel like it can pick which one to feel through first.

Intuition drops in like a little fairy that gives you no reason why, it just demands that you trust. The most you go with it and allow the reason to come later, the more obvious and friendly she will be. 🧚🏻

SO MUCH OF ME IS BECAUSE OF YOU 😩🖤 My fierce and loyal protector baby boy Mason Dixon aka meesku has been with us for 8 years today!!! (Swipe through to see 25 year old @asaparena and me just 4 months into dating bringing him home from @animalleague 😂)

As many of you know, our big boy has seen it all. He’s taken reiki and yoga trainings with me, he mediates with us, he takes his job as mine and Piper’s protector VERY seriously. He is high maintenance - and yes, I understand he’s absolutely my mirror 😂

He’s the reason I’ve been able to help so many other paw-parents… as his personality shifted post-pandemic further into the role of absolute protector, I had to find a way to communicate with him beyond commands. Now at 8 he’s the best he’s ever been. My big baby bad boy 🖤
